A bit more detail about our cancellation and change policy.

What is your cancellation policy?

We allow changes and cancellations without a charge at anytime other than within 24 hours of your appointment time.  If you want to make changes or cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment time, we have specific policies that apply.

If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the booking time or don’t show up for your appointment you will be charged the full amount of your treatment price and tax that applies to that treatment.  This includes changing therapists within 24 hours of your treatment time.  

If you change your appointment type within 24 hours of the original booking and the treatment is of a lower value than the original booking, the original booking price is charged.  If the new treatment is of a higher value than the original booking, the higher value is charged.  

What if I am late for my appointment?

If you are late for your appointment we will not be able to extend your appointment time or push back the next client to accommodate your late arrival. You will still receive a treatment, though it will be shorter, but the price will be that of the original appointment booked.

For example, if you book a 60 minute massage at 2 pm, and you are 20 minutes late, your appointment still ends at 3 pm and you still pay for a 60 minute massage.

What if I haven't filled out my forms?

We cannot provide treatments without completed intake forms. If you do not fill out your form before your arrival, ensure you get to the spa at least 10 minutes before your appointment time to fill them out in person.

If you show up right on time and have to fill out the forms in person, we will not extend your appointment time to make up for the time needed to fill out the forms.

For example, if your 60-minute appointment is at 2 pm and you arrive at 2 pm, but it takes you 10 minutes to fill out intake forms, you appointment still ends at 3 pm and you are still charged the full price for the treatment.

What if I want to change my treatment type?

You can change your appointment type at any point other than within 24 hours of your appointment time.

If you change your appointment type within 24 hours of the original booking and the treatment is of a lower value than the original booking, the original booking price is charged.  If the new treatment is of a higher value than the original booking, the higher value is charged.  

What if I want to change my therapist?

You can change your therapists anytime other than within 24 hours of your appointment time.

If you change your therapists within 24 hours, for any reason, you are charged for the original treatment booked in full AND for the new treatment with the new treatment with the new therapist.

This is because the therapists you had originally booked is now left without a client to serve. If you have a therapist preference, make sure to select the right therapist.

Can I book a treatment for someone else?

You can book an appointment for another person if you have relationship permissions enabled in your own profile though our online booking system. You can choose to book multiple appointments at the same time under your account and then assign the treatment to another person either before or on the day of the appointment by emailing or calling us.

You can also book for your child or have them create an account on our booking system to reserve their own treatments. Anyone under 14 must have parent/guardian consent for the treatment and accompanied by them. Anyone between 14-18 can book their own appointment subject our assessment of their informed consent and don't necessarily need parent/guardian consent.

NOTE that you are responsible for the cancellation fee if your other person cannot show up or wishes to cancel or change their appointment within the 24 hour cancelation period.

Can you get a massage while pregnant?

To get a full body massage while pregnant you have to be past your first trimester and book our Mom-to-be treatment.

You can get our "Weight Off Your Feet", "Zen Headspace", and "Hand-in-Knead", 30-minute massages while in your first trimester.

Any treatments, other than the listed treatments, booked within your first trimester will be cancelled upon your arrival and the cancellation fee will apply.

What if I have an emergency or am sick?

Our cancellation policy applies no matter what occurs in your life. We think that a time based policy is better than ad hock policies based on special circumstances.

That said, life happens, and we will do our best to open up your appointment time and fill it with another client. IF we fill the appointment time with another client, there will be no cancellation fee.

What if I want to cancel or change a treatment I booked same day?

We expect that you know your schedule same day and our cancellation policy applies to booking made within 24 hours of the appointment time. This means that if you book a treatment same day and want to cancel or change it, you will be charged for the treatment under the regular policy.
