Morpheus 8 combines microneedling with RF energy to deliver optimal outcomes in minimal treatment time. Microneedling involves hundreds of tiny needles that are used to create microscopic channels in the skin’s surface layer, and causing targeted damage that engages the body's natural rejuvenation processes. These channels also allow for deeper penetration of RF energy into the underlying tissues, triggering potent collagen-building processes while stimulating blood flow to the area being treated.
The result is an improved appearance that has been likened to a mini facelift without surgery!
Recovery after Morpheus8 is often referred to as social downtime.
You will leave the treatment looking like you have a light sunburn. This should subside in two days and healing complete in 5-7 days. Most people return to work and social activities the day after or a few days after their treatment.
In some cases, you may experience bruising in small areas (more common around the eyes), and this may take a bit longer to resolve.
The benefits of this treatment include smoother, softer skin; improved texture; tightening of sagging skin; better tone; wrinkle reduction; improved appearance of acne scarring; reduced fat deposits around the neck, cheeks and jawline; even pore size reduction; and more.
In addition, because Morpheus 8 does not involve any surgery or recovery time, patients can resume their normal activities soon after with minimal downtime.
Morpheus 8 offers a safe and effective way to achieve lasting facial rejuvenation without surgery. Its ability to target deep tissues beneath the surface of your skin can help reduce wrinkles and lift sagging skin while stimulating collagen production for long-lasting results that make you look younger and feel great about yourself!
Morpheus8 uses gold-plated needles to penetrate the skin several hundred to thousands of times, deeply delivering RF energy. This causes some pain, but we use topical anesthetics to reduce the pain to a comfortably tolerable 4-5 out of 10. This only lasts about 20 minutes for a treatment and in many areas you will feel very little pain, especially with numbing.
Out clients often comment that despite what they read on-line, the treatment was not very painful and well worth the results.
Preparing for a Morpheus8 treatment can help ensure optimal results and a smooth recovery. Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive procedure that combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture, tone, and firmness. Here are some tips to help you get ready:
1. Consult with Your Provider
Before your treatment, have a consultation with your provider to discuss your skin concerns, medical history, and expectations. This is also a great time to ask any questions about the procedure and what to expect.
2. Avoid Sun Exposure
Minimize direct sun exposure for at least two weeks before your appointment. Tanned or sunburned skin can increase the risk of complications, so wear broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) and protective clothing if you need to be outdoors.
3. Discontinue Certain Skincare Products
Stop using retinoids, exfoliants, or any products containing active ingredients like glycolic acid or salicylic acid 3-5 days before treatment. These products can make your skin more sensitive and prone to irritation during the procedure.
4. Avoid Blood-Thinning Medications and Supplements
If approved by your doctor, avoid blood-thinning medications (like aspirin and ibuprofen) and certain supplements (like vitamin E, fish oil, and garlic) for at least a week before treatment to minimize bruising risk.
5. Stay Hydrated
Drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your treatment helps keep your skin hydrated and can promote faster healing and recovery.
6. Avoid Alcohol and Smoking
Avoid alcohol and smoking for at least 24-48 hours before your treatment, as both can impair circulation and slow down the healing process.
7. Arrive with Clean Skin
On the day of your appointment, cleanse your skin thoroughly and avoid makeup, moisturizer, or any other skincare products. Clean, bare skin ensures optimal contact with the treatment applicator and can improve results.
8. Plan for Aftercare and Downtime
Though Morpheus8 is minimally invasive, some redness, swelling, or slight bruising is common afterward. Make arrangements to avoid strenuous activities, intense heat, or sun exposure for a few days post-treatment.
Following these preparation steps can help you achieve the best possible outcome from your Morpheus8 treatment, leading to smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin.

The Forma uses radio-frequency (RF) technology in order to improve on your overall skin quality. It addresses skin laxity while improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, leaving your skin bright and glowing.
By stimulating the production of collagen and elastin in the body these treatments yield long lasting results and keep your skin looking fresh, smooth, tight, and luminous.
There is no downtime with Forma. You can receive your treatment and then head right out to your event or on with your day.
A Forma treatment usually takes less than 30 minutes per area. At the start, your provider will apply a thin layer of conductive gel to help the applicator glide smoothly over your skin. As they move the wand in gentle circular motions, you'll feel a warm, tolerable heat with an occasional light prickling sensation.
The applicator wand has built-in sensors to monitor your skin’s temperature and adjust as needed to keep things comfortable. If you start feeling too warm at any point, just let your provider know—they can lower the temperature to suit your comfort, especially if you have sensitive skin or are working on delicate areas, like under the eyes.
Once the treatment is complete, your provider will place a cool towel over your face and remove the gel. To finish, they’ll apply skincare and sunscreen tailored specifically to your skin type, leaving you refreshed and protected.
Because Forma is so minimally invasive, there’s not much that you need to do to prepare for a treatment. We recommend avoiding tanning or spray tans in the weeks leading up to your appointment. Some skin treatments, including topical options like retinol or medications like Accutane may need to be discontinued before a Forma treatment.
